At the second drink, the girl told me she was ovulating, then gave me a flirty wink. I told her I had to use the restroom, pulled the waiter aside, quickly paid at the bar, and headed out with my head down. Unfortunately, she noticed and chased after me. I ran to my car, she followed. I slammed the door, started the engine, and she was yelling and banging on the window. Tires screeching, I pulled out of the lot while she ran after me, shouting how awful I was for not wanting kids with her.

The guy was telling a story when he suddenly let out a huge fart, then kept talking like nothing happened. I was the only one who heard it, but I saw the people at the next table covering their noses and exchanging looks to figure out who did it. Still chatting, he squirmed in his seat and let out another awful one. That’s when I stood up, said I had to go, and left without looking back. Ten minutes later, he texted: “Because of the fart, right?”

The man explained that anyone who’s a kid of divorced parents and raised by a single mom is "a total loser who will never achieve anything," but he could tell I came from a good family. I told him my dad left when I was five, so unfortunately, I’m a "loser," and he shouldn’t waste his time on me. Then I walked away.

I was telling the girl a story when she got a message and started typing with a mysterious smile. After a few minutes of awkward silence, I asked who she was chatting with. “Just a guy…” she said, still smiling. I waited five minutes, watching my watch, but neither the smile nor the typing stopped. I don’t know when she noticed I left, but when I looked back from the exit, she was still typing.

“Wanna hear a secret?” the girl asked. “I told my ex I was on birth control, but I wasn’t. Sadly, I didn’t get pregnant, even though I had plenty of money.” I took a sip of my drink, paid, and left.

I and others asked him to stop and not ruin the fun, but he just laughed. Eventually, two big guys from the theater staff escorted him out. He was super offended because I didn’t go home with him.
