The Shape of Your Hand
Based on your hand shape, you can fall into one of these four main types.
Earth Hand: Square and broad with "cut-off" fingers that are thick and strong. These folks often work with their hands and appreciate routine and stability.
Fire Hand: Thicker at the base, tapering upward, with relatively short, well-shaped fingers. These are creative, active personalities who get bored easily and crave adventure.
Water Hand: Rounder, fleshy, and often sweaty. Owners seek comfort, both giving and expecting it. They absorb emotions like a sponge and avoid confrontation.
Air Hand: Characterized by a rectangular palm with long, thin, and delicate fingers. These people tend to worry a lot, overanalyze, and overthink.
The Four Major Lines
Palmistry focuses on four main lines in the palm.
Life Line
This line reflects our health and vitality—the longer and more curved it is, the "fuller" our life tends to be. Breaks in the Life Line can signal major changes like accidents, illnesses, or trauma, but also positive events like sudden success or financial gain. Modern palmistry no longer strictly links the Life Line’s length to lifespan.
Fate Line
This line shows your career path: a broken line means you’ll try different jobs, while a continuous line suggests one defining profession. When the Fate and Life Lines meet, it might mean your work and family life intertwine, or that a woman has prioritized family over career.
Head Line
Located above the Life Line, it reveals how we think. A long Head Line touching the Life Line signals sharp intellect, while a shorter one points to impulsive, instinctive thinking.
Heart Line
It’s better if this line is curved rather than straight. A straight Heart Line suggests less sensitivity and emotion in relationships, and possibly a less exciting love life. A curved Heart Line shows you fully experience emotions and aren’t afraid to open your heart.
