What the Perfect Face Looks Like According to Men and Women — Relationship

The Perfect Female Face—Through Women’s Eyes

Ten or twenty years ago, flipping through a magazine meant seeing unique, standout beauties who probably wouldn’t make the cover today. Sharp facial features, gaps between teeth, and bushy eyebrows defined the beauty ideal back then. Maybe it’s because plastic surgery wasn’t as popular as it is now. Everyone showed the world what they were naturally blessed with.

It’s always exciting to open an old magazine because you see personalities, not cookie-cutter women.

As the world changes, so has our perspective. Today’s perfect female face, from a woman’s point of view, likely fits current trends. Think full lips, eyebrows that look effortlessly tousled but are perfectly groomed, a straight, slightly upturned nose, and of course, the hottest trend right now—the fox eye. Without a plastic surgeon, you can achieve this with eyeliner and contouring. Don’t have too many wrinkles, but if you do, rock them with confidence like Meryl Streep, who’s still glowing at 73. Keep fillers minimal—just enough to keep your look fresh and radiant.

Sounds wild, right? It would be hypocritical to say no one should care about their face and just accept it as is. I believe in changing what we’re unhappy with—but within reason. Our face is our unique, one-of-a-kind calling card. Wouldn’t it be better to highlight that uniqueness? I say, instead of fillers and Botox, start loving your wrinkles and your natural lip shape. Nothing beats the beauty of being natural.

The Perfect Female Face—Through Men’s Eyes

You probably already guess that men find different things beautiful than we do. While we convince ourselves that everyone loves plumped lips and frozen faces, these are actually the two features men dislike the most: duck lips and expressionless, Botoxed faces. But even they admit tasteful enhancements exist—Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston are prime examples. Both have had some work done, but it’s subtle. Thankfully for men, they don’t like over-the-top looks on women.

What they do love are natural, soft features, natural eyebrows, natural lips, and a very light layer of makeup.

While we’re mastering the latest contouring techniques, they’d be happiest if we ditched our makeup bags forever. For them, the perfect female makeup is a thin foundation layer, mascara, a quick eyebrow touch-up, and maybe a soft hint of lipstick. They don’t like symmetry; they actually prefer asymmetrical lines.

So while we spend years and a lot of money chasing the perfect female face, they’d happily toss half our makeup away and ban all plastic surgery.

Because for men, the perfect female face lies in naturalness. You might have a bigger nose, crooked teeth, or any face shape—but if a man’s gaze locks onto your face, none of that matters. Find the man who sees you as the most beautiful first thing in the morning, without any creams or makeup.
