Why, why, why?

When faced with a tough situation, our first instinct isn’t usually to learn from it but to keep asking "why." Few people can focus on the positive right away in truly hard times—if you can, you’re probably floating somewhere in Tibet! As time passes and the storm clouds clear, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes visible, though for some sooner, for others later. There’s no rush in this process; the goal is for everyone to discover their own life truths. Searching for answers in the "whys" is a natural human reaction and shouldn’t lead to self-blame. The good news? Over time, the urge to ask "why" can fade.

Step Into Action!

We live in an endless cycle, often without noticing. Your day will come when you finally spot your own pattern. This isn’t a process with an end—once you learn one lesson, the next one arrives. Maybe it’s time to shift how we see things because these lessons aren’t meant to keep us unhappy. Quite the opposite—they push us to act, change, and grow.

Imagine how dull and one-dimensional life would be if there were never any problems, pain, or challenges to overcome.

So, the answer to your question, "Why is this happening to me again?" is simple. It’s because you haven’t yet overcome the obstacle or brought out the best in yourself. You can blame circumstances, but eventually, everyone realizes it’s pointless—everything depends on us. Don’t believe it? We’ll prove it!

It’s Only YOU!

Life is cause and effect, action and reaction—everything depends on how we respond to situations. Here’s a simple example: imagine your coworkers are driving you crazy, and you feel like all the weight is on your shoulders even though you’ve done nothing wrong. You feel stuck reliving your workplace trauma, powerless to change it because you can’t change others. That’s true! But the real challenge isn’t others.

When we look for answers in others’ changes, we’re really avoiding changing ourselves.

Sound familiar? "If my partner changes, our relationship will improve," "If my mom changes, I’ll spend more time with her," "If my coworkers act normal, everything will be fine at work." Changes don’t happen, and you end up feeling worse.

Change Yourself and Everything Will Change!

There’s one thing you can do: change the attitude of the only person you can influence—YOU! Negative cycles continue only as long as you allow them. You stop them by standing up and acting. In practice, this means responding in an unexpected way that shakes up your usual routine.

Back to the workplace example: your coworkers can only get to you as long as you let them.

If they keep picking on you, fire back without hesitation! Stand up for yourself—it feels priceless afterward. Are they constantly dumping their work on you? It’s time to say no! Don’t worry about possible consequences—they might turn out differently than you imagine, and fear only holds you back. Always choose to stand up for yourself and your interests. Sure, you might have to apologize sometimes because sudden reactions happen, but isn’t it better to live knowing you stood your ground?
