Gemini: sorry as filling the silence
Gemini apologises for talking too much, for changing the subject, for the text they sent at midnight, for the enthusiasm that occasionally outpaces the room. Much of it is a reflex against the suspicion that they are too much: too fast, too curious, too scattered. The apology is a small self-correction, offered cheerfully and almost unconsciously.
But apologising for your temperament is a strange habit to keep. Gemini's quickness is the thing people love about them, and the constant hedging only invites others to agree that it is a problem. Replacing the apology with nothing at all — simply carrying on — is a surprisingly radical experiment.
What if my sign isn't on this list?
Over-apologising is a habit, not a birth certificate, and plenty of people pick it up from a job, a family or a single relationship where saying sorry was the fastest way to end an argument. These four signs are simply the ones whose chart themes make the habit easy to fall into. If you recognise yourself here with a Taurus or Capricorn sun, look at where your Moon or Venus sits — that is often where the reflex lives.
Is apologising a lot always a bad thing?
Not at all. A genuine apology is one of the most repairing things we can offer, and people who never apologise are far harder to live with than people who over-apologise. The useful swap is to keep sorry for the moments you actually caused harm, and replace the rest with thank you — thank you for waiting, thank you for being patient — which conveys the same warmth without casting you as the problem. If the habit runs deep enough to be exhausting, a conversation with a therapist is often more useful than another resolution to stop.
