Since We Are Here – With Kristóf in the Brody House Bunker — Leisure

What happens if we try not to survive the last moments, but to live them?

Atalon.hu has launched a special, intimate podcast series titled Since We Are Here, in which Kristóf Steiner dives into one-on-one conversations with well-known and respected guests – public figures, artists, thinkers, and adventurers – for one last (or first) real conversation.

The series is not just about the conversations – but also about how to give meaning to uncertainty and how to bring depth to the last moments, whether time is interpreted literally or symbolically.

The podcast recordings take place in the artistic nest of the Brody House in Budapest, specifically in its bohemian, bunker-like basement – where there is no distracting noise, only raw honesty, intimacy, and creative experimentation. A space where you can dance in silence, read personal bedtime stories, pretend to be someone else – to become even more yourself.

Each episode is a unique audiovisual experience: a contemporary visual artist is also present alongside the guest, who interprets what is heard through the artwork created under the influence of the conversation, showing how they perceived us in this seemingly timeless moment.

In the first episode, Kristóf Steiner hosts Eszter Fancsikai, with a visual art imprint of the conversation created by Renáta Biacsics (@renyagyar). This week, Bori Péterfy and Zsili Babos arrive, and over the course of 11 weeks, guests will include Soma Mamagésa, András Hodász, Peti Puskás, and Lilu, among others.

The topics of the conversations are not only personal but also explore philosophical, social, and existential questions.

What is normality when the order of the world is shaken? Can panic be motivating? And what do we do with what remains if the end of the world does not come?

About the Host – Kristóf Steiner

Kristóf Steiner is a writer, journalist, former television host, and a constant cultural restless spirit. Having traveled the world, he experienced his own spiritual and social transformation, which he now shares with the audience through a new medium, in podcast form. Kristóf's conversations are not just interviews: they are rituals in which a piece of life gains new meaning.

The Since We Are Here podcast will be available on all major streaming platforms and will also be presented visually on the Atalon YouTube channel – episodes will soon be followable on the show's social media platforms as well, but the latest episodes are always accessible on Atalon.hu or through the Atalon app.

Since we are here – let’s not just survive. Let’s talk. Now. Truly.
