"I’m into it if she’s had many partners." – Male-Preferred Female Traits Society Often Misjudges — Relationship
In this article

Let’s see what guys really like that society usually frowns upon.

Brains

Everyone’s intimidated by smart women—men especially. A century ago, women weren’t even allowed to be smart, and even today, many women pretend to be less intelligent to protect a man’s ego. It’s no coincidence: a friend once broke up with his girlfriend because he felt dumb next to her. I’m an engineer with my own company, and proudly say that in every relationship, my partner has been smarter than me. I absolutely adore intelligent women.

Sexy

“Daring dressing” often gets criticized, but to me, it signals confidence—not promiscuity. Especially when her figure isn’t perfect. There’s nothing more exciting than a woman who owns her body and isn’t afraid to show it, no matter her age or shape. Confidence is the ultimate turn-on.

Talkative

We’ve all heard, “I can’t stand a girl who talks too much.” Many fear chatty women, but I love it when my partner is talkative. I’m a quiet, low-key guy who lives in his own world—I need a communicative woman to complement me and speak up for both of us.

Swearing

Swearing is often seen as off-putting, but honestly, it impresses me.

Comedian

Men often don’t like funny women. Society tends to be skeptical of female comedians, and it’s almost taboo if the woman is funnier than the man! But in my relationship, that’s exactly how it is. I’m no comedy star, but my wife shines with her wit. I love her for it. Her great humor has helped us through many tough times.

Clingy

A little clinginess can annoy some guys, but I like it when my girl sticks close to me.

Lioness

Most people don’t like strong, assertive women, but that’s exactly what I’m into. I can’t connect with shy wallflowers—I want a woman who’s confident and self-assured. It’s not a fetish; I just respect a partner who stands strong on her own and doesn’t lean on me.

Strong Opinions

It’s exciting when a woman has opinions and isn’t afraid to share them. Even if they’re controversial. Even if it means arguing and risking others’ dislike. Guys usually run from women who stand firm in their views like the devil from incense—but I admire them.

Partners

I don’t get this new nonsense that it’s bad if a woman has had many sexual partners. Why would anyone want to be the first every time? I love when a woman knows her body and it shows that she enjoys sex. She tells me what she likes and maybe even knows moves I haven’t experienced yet. How could that be a disadvantage?!

Straight Shooter

I love it when she doesn’t always try to please others but “calls it like it is.” My wife tells the waiter if the food isn’t good. She confronts the contractor if the tiles aren’t laid properly. And she’s not afraid to tell my mom the mini drum set was a terrible gift for the kid. My wife is a treasure.
