What’s fascinating is that no paint residue was found on the Shroud to explain this mysterious pattern. In the main church of Manoppello, there’s another veil featuring a face. Amazingly, this face matches the one on the Shroud of Turin exactly. While the Shroud shows a negative image of the face, the Manoppello veil reveals a positive one. This veil originates from Jerusalem.

The mechanism is covered with more than 2,000 inscriptions and symbols. It’s made up of many pieces that researchers have studied, and then came the shock: engraved writings were found on it. Some believe it was used for astronomical purposes. What’s truly incredible is its precision — it’s more complex than a watch, and creating something like this was thought to be possible only a thousand years later. Yet, no earlier models have been discovered so far.
